Direct-Pay Option

Our standard rate for an in-home pediatric visit is $150, paid at the time of service.
This rate includes the full exam, diagnosis, treatment plan, and all point-of-care testing and nebulizer treatments needed during the visit.

Included tests and treatments:
• Rapid strep, Mono
• Rapid flu

• Rapid COVID
• RSV
• Blood glucose
• Urine dip
• In-home nebulizer treatment

This small same-day courtesy adjustment may be available when payment is made in full at the visit, applied uniformly according to our financial policy.

Insurance & Payment Information

Little Steps Pediatric House Calls is currently in network with:

• Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) PPO
• Meridian Health
• Molina Healthcare
• UnitedHealthcare (UHC)
• Cigna

We submit claims for patients with the insurance plans listed above. Benefits are verified before your visit, and we will review any expected out-of-pocket costs with you in advance.

Payment & Card on File

For non-Medicaid patients, a credit or debit card may be kept on file to cover applicable copays, deductibles, coinsurance, self-pay services, or missed appointment fees, if applicable. Cards are stored securely through our payment processor, and charges are only made according to our posted policies.

Important Medicaid Notice

Patients with Illinois Medicaid plans cannot self-pay for covered services, and a credit card is not required to receive care. Covered services must be billed through the Medicaid plan on file.
